Entry Level Sales and Marketing Specialist

Our marketing and promotions partners help major brands connect with customers through in-person events, retail campaigns, and community outreach. As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, you’ll work directly with customers, represent established brands, learn proven sales techniques, and contribute to campaign and sales goals.

Position Overview

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will support marketing and sales initiatives by engaging with customers, presenting products and services, generating interest, and helping drive new customer acquisition. This is an entry-level position with training provided and opportunities to develop into additional sales and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent client brands professionally in retail and event environments
• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and provide product or service information
• Present products and services clearly and confidently
• Assist with customer acquisition and sales activities
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits
• Help generate new sales opportunities through face-to-face customer interactions
• Work toward individual and team sales and performance goals
• Track customer interactions, sales activity, and campaign results
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development
• Collaborate with team members to support successful marketing campaigns and sales initiatives
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach throughout each interaction

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers in person
• Goal-oriented and motivated to learn
• Reliable and professional
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn sales and customer engagement techniques
• Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or marketing is a plus but not required
