We are seeking a high-energy Sales Executive (Hunter) with 7 years of proven B2B sales experience in IT staffing, consulting, or solution sales. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—and play a critical role in expanding Strategic Systems’ client footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Client Acquisition: Sell IT staffing and solutions services to hiring managers, VPs, and directors in verticals such as Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, and Technology.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
- Sales Strategy: Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and pipeline targets. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with delivery/recruiting teams to align client expectations and ensure high-quality placements.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to effectively position Strategic Systems’ value proposition.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of sales experience in IT staffing, consulting, or professional services
- A true hunter mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of client needs, especially in IT with a focus on collaboratively building outcome-based solutions
- Experience selling in a consultative, solution-based environment
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.
