• Top 3-5 Must-Have Skills:

• 5 years of experience in Python development.
• Proven experience refactoring or modernizing existing codebases to improve
• Experience working with government or public health organizations.
  
  

  Required Skills & Experience:

  • Python Development: Advanced proficiency writing clean, modular, maintainable Python code, using libraries like pandas, os, shutil, logging, arcpy, pyodbc, and requests.
  • ArcPy and Spatial Processing: Hands-on experience with ArcPy for spatial joins, geoprocessing tasks, and field calculations.
  • SQL Server Expertise: Strong ability to query and update relational databases; working knowledge of geospatial data management within ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabases.
  • API Integration: Experience with third-party geocoding APIs, especially the Google Geocoding API, including API authentication, usage management, and secure key handling.
  • Software Development Best Practices: Familiarity with PEP 8, modular design principles, version control using Git, and developing independently with clear deliverables.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional Python development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience refactoring or modernizing existing codebases for better maintainability and performance.
  Bachelor s degree in computer science, GIS, Software Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience may substitute for education).
