Aircraft Interior Cabinet Builder

The Aircraft Interior Cabinet builder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing aircraft interior cabinetry and woodwork in accordance with design specifications, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. This role requires precision craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials, including wood, composite panels, veneers, and laminates.

Knowledge & Skills

• Building Aircraft Cabinets
• Removal, installation, modification, and repair of aircraft cabinets
• Perform major modifications under minimal supervision
• Building, assembly of various components for the interior of the aircraft during refurbishment such as cabinets, galleys, lavatories, wardrobes, tables, etc
• In addition to working with wood components and high-grade veneers, technicians will also work with composite and other light-weight materials
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional
• Must possess own tools required for the job

Minimum Experience & Education

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience removing, installing, and fabricating aircraft interiors for corporate aircraft (King Air, Hawker, Citation, Gulfstream, Challenger, etc.)

Background Checks

• This position is covered under Federal Aviation Regulations in regard to unescorted access to Security Identification Display Areas.  Applicants are subject to employment verification and, possibly, an FBI criminal history records check.
