Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role located in New Orleans, LA. The Estimator will be tasked with preparing cost estimates for various infrastructure, maintenance, and operational projects within the Strategic Petroleum Reserve sites. Key responsibilities include performing data analysis, reviewing technical specifications and project requirements, preparing and reviewing cost proposals, and collaborating closely with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. The Estimator will also assist in cost planning, reporting, and managing budgetary controls for projects.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Proficiency in data analysis, cost analysis, and the evaluation of technical project requirements
- Experience in working with engineering designs, construction methodologies, and technical specifications
- Knowledge of procurement processes and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools along with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field
- Experience in the energy or infrastructure industry is preferred
