Position Overview
We are seeking a Network / Site Reliability & Infrastructure Engineer (NSRE/SRE) to support our Contact Center Technology ecosystem. This role requires a strong operational mindset, ownership mentality, and deep experience supporting contact center platforms in public cloud and SaaS environments.
This is not a developer role, but candidates must be comfortable writing scripts, automating tasks, and improving operational efficiency. Personality and collaboration skills are critical; we are looking for someone who is approachable, adaptable, and easy to work with.
Required Qualifications: 5 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide infrastructure and reliability support for Contact Center platforms, including:NICE Nexidia (Call Analytics)
- WFM (Workforce Management)
- CDM systems
- Own system reliability, monitoring, incident response, and problem resolution
- Participate in on-call rotations, shift-based support, and after-hours initiatives as required
- Perform root cause analysis and drive preventative solutions
- Improve operational efficiency through scripting, automation, and process optimization
- Support multiple applications across a diverse technology stack
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support SaaS and cloud-based platforms
Required Skills:
- 5–6 years of experience in NSRE, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Operations
- Strong contact center–related experience (required)
- Hands-on experience with NICE platforms (Nexidia required)
- Experience supporting public cloud–based or SaaS products
- Solid background in general systems operations, primarily Windows-based environments
- Experience working in shift-based operational support models and on-call rotations
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and task ownership skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Apache Tomcat and Java-based technologies
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Strong automation mindset aligned with SRE best practices
- Familiarity with modern observability and monitoring tools, including:Splunk (centralized logging)
- AppDynamics
- ThousandEyes (via AppDynamics)
- Azure Stack / Azure Monitor / Azure Insights
- BigPanda for alert consolidation and intelligent insights
Work Expectations
- Standard 8-hour workday, with an additional 4-hour availability buffer to support on-call initiatives
- Participation in on-call rotation is required
- Ability to pick up work across shifts and support business-critical systems.
