Senior Product Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC 28206 Hybrid
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Pay: $70-74/hr W2 ONLY, NO C2C
Position Summary:
Workers at this level manage work with minimal supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects. They are fully competent in use of concepts and procedures, identify problems, develop solutions, and take actions to resolve them.
This role provides and leads analytical support to Product Owners and Managers engaged in the discovery, design, and delivery of AI-related products. Unlike traditional data-heavy analyst roles, this position emphasizes critical thinking and storytelling with data—translating insights into strategic recommendations that align with business goals and ROI.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Product Owner with user research and story writing.
- Perform process mapping, value stream mapping, process analysis, and ROI analysis.
- Develop and execute quality assurance plans.
- Support change management functions for successful product implementation.
- Collaborate with the product team to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Utilize data to develop and implement solutions that demonstrate value (e.g., ROI, user impact).
- Translate data into meaningful insights and narratives for leadership.
- Create visual representations of data using tools like Power BI and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Management, or similar discipline.
- In lieu of a degree: 9 years of relevant experience.
- With a degree: 5 years of experience in a related business area.
- Experience writing business cases and defining opportunities with limited data.
- SQL Experience
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Power BI, Excel.
- General understanding of AI and how data supports AI initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the utility industry.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Design Thinking experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience.
