Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Sr BA – SAP HR/Payroll, W2 contract engagement in Detroit, MI!
Title: Sr BA – SAP HR/Payroll
Location: Detroit, MI
Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in office (Tue/Wed/Thu)
Duration: 12 months with potential for contract renewal.
This is a W-2 contract opportunity, and candidates must be able to work on our W-2 only. NO C2C or 1099.
ENGAGEMENT DESCRIPTION:
The IT Services & End User Experience department within IT is looking for a Client Technology Technician to join our team. Our department provides critical operations and infrastructure support to the entire enterprise. The Client Technology Technician will be responsible for end-user technology support, specializing in mobile devices using the iOS and android operating systems
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentationfor HR technology initiatives (Payroll, Time, Workforce)
- Act as a functional liaisonbetween HR business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
- Support and/or lead implementations of SuccessFactors ECP and Workforce Time solutions.
- Analyze current-state SAP ECC HR processesand define future-state improvements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution design discussions.
- Support system integration efforts(ECP ↔ SAP ECC ↔ Workforce Time)
- Participate in testing strategy, UAT coordination, and defect resolution.
- Drive process optimization and standardization across payroll and time systems.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise governance, compliance, and data integrity standards.
Required Experience
- 7 years of Business Analyst experience in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise with:
- SAP SuccessFactors Payroll (ECP)
- Workforce Time / Workforce Time Solution
- SAP ECC HR / Payroll
- CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet)
- Proven experience supporting implementations or major enhancements of:
- SuccessFactors ECP
- Workforce Time solutions
- Hands-on experience with:
- Requirements gathering, documentation, and traceability
- End-to-end lifecycle delivery (design → build → test → deploy)
- Strong understanding of HR / Payroll / Timekeeping business processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in utility or highly regulated environments
- Experience with integration between SAP ECC and SuccessFactors
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models
- Experience supporting parallel environments(legacy SAP ECC new SF platform)
- Strong data analysis and reporting experience.
