Job Description STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING. Oracle SQL DBA / Systems Administrator St. Louis, MO (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) 6 Months with goal to convert to perm W2 Contract-to-Hire role Position Overview Perform system upgrades.
Make system changes and enhancements to improve automation. Support Oracle-based systems. Troubleshoot systems that are not working properly and determine root cause.
Perform upgrades and enhancements to existing systems. Help automate integrations that are currently being performed manually. Analyze, design, code, test, configure, and modify software projects, products, and enhancements using various programming languages, technologies, and development methodologies.
Design, develop, test, debug, and implement application, software, operating system components, tools, and utilities. Conduct performance testing. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to maintain availability and improve efficiency.
Complete technical documentation related to testing, QA, training, troubleshooting, operating procedures, installation, and maintenance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business. 5 years of relevant experience Strong Oracle SQL database experience.
Linux Server Setup and Application Support: Ability to build, configure, patch, monitor, and support Linux servers. Experience supporting Linux servers hosting business-critical applications. *Beware of scams.
