Job Title: IAM Technical Execution- Not Governance
Contract Length: 24 Month contract
3 days in office/ 2 remote
Locations: Irving, TX (preferred)/ West Des Moines, IA/ Minneapolis, MN/ Chandler, AZ
Pay- $40-$50
This role sits within Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations, supporting mainframe security environments. The analyst will handle access provisioning and lifecycle management activities for users operating within mainframe systems. The role is heavily ticket-driven, processing approximately 12–15 requests per day within a high-volume environment.
The position focuses on business-as-usual (BAU) IAM operations, supporting access requests, enforcing security controls, and maintaining compliance with enterprise policies. A technical background is required, including the ability to work with command-line interfaces in a mainframe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer RACF user IDs, groups, and profiles in alignment with IAM and security policies
- Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications across the identity lifecycle (joiner, mover, leaver)
- Support access request workflows, approvals, password resets, and remediation activities
- Maintain and update RACF dataset, general resource, and system profiles
- Enforce least privilege and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements
- Review and analyze RACF violations, SMF records, audit logs, and security reports
- Assist with access reviews, recertifications, and entitlement validation
- Document IAM processes, RACF procedures, and security standards
- Follow change management processes and ensure proper approvals and documentation
- Troubleshoot access issues and escalate complex cases as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
- Experience with change management and incident management processes
- Technical background with ability to work in command-line environments
- Experience with access provisioning and lifecycle management
Additional Notes
- Experience with RACF is preferred but not required
- Experience with TopSecret or ACF2 is considered relevant
- Mainframe coding (e.g., COBOL) is not required
- Candidates without direct mainframe experience may be considered if they have strong access provisioning experience
- Role is operational and ticket-driven, with monthly volume of 300–400 requests
- Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
