Category Manager
Denver, CO or Houston, TX (Denver is preferred)
MUST BE LOCAL TO EITHER MARKET- NO RELOCATIONS PLEASE
4 months with probable extension or contract to hire– one week in office/one week remote
NO 1099 NO CTC NO THIRD PARTY
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience as a well-rounded supply chain, procurement, or category management experience, preferably within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience analyzing spend data, evaluating commercial alternatives, and interpreting contract terms and conditions.
- Experience with OpenInvoice and the Enverus suite is preferred – similar tools are acceptable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation technologies, and digital procurement solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $60 - $62
