OPFOR Role Players

SSU is currently recruiting for an OPFOR Role Players to support the 570th Combat Training Squadron Desert Defender Readiness Training Center (DDRTC) and Security Forces Academy 343d Training Squadron for Opposition Forces (OPFOR) Support These opportunities are contingent upon award of contract.

Locations: Fort Bliss, TX and camp Bullis, TX

Positions Include:

• Senior OPFOR Lead Role Player
• Senior OPFOR Role Player
• Junior OPFOR Role Player

Qualifications:

Senior OPFOR Role Player must have the following:

• At least 10 years military experience in a combat related career field
• Experience as a operator/instructor with tactical training
• Operational experience in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or other recent combat operational environments
• Weapons and tactical training, communications equipment, and planning

Junior OPFOR Role Player must have the following:

• At least 4 years military experience in a combat related career field

All OPFOR Role Players must have the following:

• Be capable of lifting and carrying over 40 pounds without fatigue, physical strain or stress that will cause injury.
• Be able to safely maneuver through a rocky/hill environment to facilitate hard and realistic combat training scenarios.
• Be able to stand outdoors for 4hour intervals.
• Be able to maintain mobility, including running, in a rocky environment.
• Be comfortable with physical restraint (e.g., handcuffs/zipties) to support various training scenarios.
• Obtain a driver’s license
