SSU is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joint Exploitation Training Course (JETC) Instructor to join our team to support USSOCOM. This opportunity is contingent upon awarded contract.
Location: Fort Bragg, NC
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Joint Exploitation Training Course (JETC) Instructor provides classroom, laboratory, and field-based instruction supporting USSOCOM exploitation and sensitive site exploitation (SSE) training requirements. The instructor develops and delivers Programs of Instruction (POI) focused on tactical and operational exploitation activities including DOMEX, media exploitation, cellular exploitation, biometric collection, forensic exploitation, and SSE operations.
The instructor supports realistic operational training environments designed to prepare Special Operations Forces (SOF), interagency personnel, and partner organizations for deployed exploitation missions.
- Deliver instruction in Joint Exploitation Training Courses and related exploitation disciplines.
- Conduct classroom instruction, practical exercises, and field training events.
- Develop, revise, and maintain lesson plans, POIs, student guides, and evaluation criteria.
- Provide instruction on:
- Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE)
- Digital Media Exploitation (DOMEX)
- Cellular exploitation
- Biometric enrollment and collection
- Evidence handling and chain of custody
- Tactical questioning support
- Exploitation reporting procedures
- Develop realistic operational scenarios replicating SOF mission environments.
- Evaluate student performance through written tests, practical evaluations, and field assessments.
- Configure, transport, operate, and maintain training equipment and exploitation systems.
- Coordinate with Government training managers and operational stakeholders.
- Support mobile training teams (MTTs) and CONUS/OCONUS travel requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of exploitation technologies, forensic tools, and USSOCOM TTPs.
- Ensure all training complies with operational security and classification requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related military, law enforcement, or intelligence experience; OR
- 810 years of directly related military or operational experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience supporting:
- USSOCOM
- Special Operations Forces
- Military Intelligence
- Counterintelligence
- Law Enforcement Exploitation Operations
- Prior operational experience conducting SSE, DOMEX, CELLEX, or forensic exploitation missions.
- Experience instructing adult learners in military or government environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Former SOF, Military Intelligence, CI/HUMINT, or exploitation analyst background.
- Graduate of Joint Exploitation Training Center courses.
- Experience with:
- Cellebrite
- XRY
- Palantir
- Biometrics systems
- Digital forensic collection tools
- Instructor certification or military instructor qualification.
- Experience supporting deployed operations.
