Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Community Planner at Strategic Solutions LLC. The selected candidate will work on planning and development projects, focusing on land use, zoning, comprehensive planning, and community development. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research, collaborating with stakeholders, reviewing project plans, and developing tailored strategies to meet client and community objectives. The position also involves project management, business development and attendance at on-site client meetings (workday and evening) in Pennsylvania, Delaware and eastern Ohio.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in comprehensive planning, land use planning and zoning (min. 7 years)
- Knowledge in community development and public administration
- Ability to work remotely while effectively collaborating with team members
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with GIS tools and planning/graphics software is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in urban planning, public administration, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AICP) are a strong advantage
