Role Description The Route Sales Representative is a full-time remote role responsible for managing a designated territory of retail locations and driving sales growth through regular store visits. In this role, the representative will merchandise product displays, ensure accurate inventory levels, and execute company planograms and promotional programs. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with store personnel, presenting new products, and identifying opportunities to expand product placement and improve category performance. The role involves monitoring sales trends, reporting territory results, and communicating feedback from retailers to internal teams to support continuous improvement. The Route Sales Representative will also ensure all activities comply with company policies and standards for safety, branding, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Sales and account management skills, including territory planning, upselling, and relationship-building with retail partners.
• Merchandising and retail execution skills, such as setting planograms, managing inventory levels, and maintaining attractive, compliant product displays.
• Operational and organizational skills, including route scheduling, time management, and accurate completion of reports and documentation.
• Technical proficiency with mobile devices and basic software tools used for order entry, reporting, and communication.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with store teams and internal colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territory (as required).
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting product, setting fixtures, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Previous experience in route sales, field merchandising, or retail store operations is preferred; experience in consumer products or accessories is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
