We are seeking an experienced Site Lead to manage day-to-day operations of a high-visibility Visual Information Support Services (VISS) program supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL. The Site Lead will oversee a multidisciplinary team providing graphic design, audiovisual (AV), photography, and video teleconferencing (VTC) support for official U.S. Navy missions, events, and communications. This role combines team leadership, customer coordination, and hands-on quality oversight in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
This position is contingent upon receipt of award and candidate’s ability to pass security screening.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site primary point of contact with government leadership, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and supported commands.
- Oversee daily performance of graphics, AV, and photography staff to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables that meet government standards.
- Manage task assignments, workflow prioritization, and quality control across all service areas.
- Attend regular production and coordination meetings with government staff.
- Ensure compliance with contract performance standards, Section 508 accessibility, and security requirements.
- Review and approve all deliverables prior to government submission.
- Monitor team performance, conduct staff evaluations, and ensure professional development.
- Maintain positive working relationships with government stakeholders, internal staff, and partner organizations.
- Support occasional offsite events or surge requirements (e.g., ceremonies, conferences).
Qualifications
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship (per federal contract requirement).
- Active or Interim Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Business, or related field.
- 5 years of leadership experience managing teams in visual media, AV, or communications environments.
- Strong understanding of AV, VTC, and digital media operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience leading federal or DoD multimedia or visual information contracts.
- Knowledge of NAVAIR/NAWCTSD environments, military protocol, and event production.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and government deliverable processes (CDRLs, QASP).
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent management certification.
