RT/R2PC Operations Manager (PFMP Office, JBLE, Newport News, VA)

(SRI) is an international, ISO 9001/27001/20000 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 37 years’ experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is seeking committed and passionate professionals to provide critical Program Management services to the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, overseeing the delivery of resilience and performance enhancement training to military service members, DA Civilians and their Families.
Overview: The Resilience Training/Ready and Resilient Performance Center Support (RT/R2PC), Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for delivery of enhanced performance training to U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, their families, and Department of the Army (DA) civilians at 33 Army Ready and Resilient Performance Centers (R2PC’s) within the United States and Overseas. The OM shall be responsible for managing operations, to include the distribution of work assignments, establishing milestones, monitoring progress in accordance with established practices and timelines; assessing progress and providing guidance, to include goals, objectives, and milestones, ensuring production meets expectations; and providing comprehensive reports to Government Representatives.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Oversees all operations and is responsible for publishing correspondence that affects R2PC operations.
- Monitors program implementation, provide guidance to Ready and Resilient Performance Centers (R2PC) support staff and Performance Center Managers (PCMs)
- Executes and facilitates the processing of all Training Support Requests, to include logistical coordinationrequired(e.g.travel of trainers, schedule coordination, etc.)
- Ensures accurate implementation of the R2PC Programs of Instruction (POI)
- Maintains and updates existing SOPs
- Facilitates external research projects involving training center (TC) staff from the initial planning phase to implementation.
- Conducts and attends external meetings, conducts site visits, communicates program metrics to stakeholders, and manages travel.
- Participates in program updates briefing; maintain updated training calendars for all training centers.
- Prepares contractor required reports and administrative documents.
Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:
- Master’s degree in business, operations, logistics, management, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a position that involves the management of training or education programs.
- Military experience, or experience working with DoD personnel is desired (not required)
- Applicants must successfully undergo a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation.
- Experience managing personnel at multiple sites. Ability to meet and correspond regularly with a Government counterpart.
- Experience conducting QC checks and ensuring training requirements are met.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Ability to exercise a great deal of independent judgment.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
