Brief Overview of Position:
Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Project Manager (PM) role to support a DHS client where we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. This individual is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of all program activities for software asset management (SAM) requirements. For the base and option periods, the SAM support services shall consist of tool configuration and maintenance, program guidance, entitlement tracking, proactive software asset management, software licensing optimization, software license helpdesk support.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all work performed under the pertinent performance work statement
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
- Oversee program risk management, performance metrics, and reporting
- Ensure alignment with DHS and USCIS systems, policies, and operational priorities
- Guide cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of program outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of progressive program/project management experience with information technology requirements
- Certification: PMP and International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers (IAITAM) or equivalent experience
Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and program management frameworks
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills at the executive level
- Experience with DHS systems and immigration policy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and complex program environments
