Role Descriptions: This is a full-time, on-site role based out of our office in Rohnert Park, CA, with positions available in our General Construction, Electrical, and Low Voltage divisions.
Team members may support a variety of construction projects in government, commercial, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities may include assisting with general construction activities, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and low voltage systems, reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, pulling cable, setting and wiring equipment, performing terminations, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.
Professionals in these roles are expected to follow all safety, regulatory, and project-specific requirements; coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and other trades; and accurately document work performed. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, working collaboratively with project teams, and contributing to project schedules, quality standards, and deadlines are also key parts of the role..
Qualifications
- Experience in general construction, electrical, low voltage, or a related construction trade is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents applicable to the assigned scope of work.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment relevant to general construction, electrical, or low voltage installations.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, low voltage systems (e.g., communications, data, security, access control, CCTV, or fire alarm), or other construction specialties is a plus, depending on the position.
- Commitment to workplace safety and a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently when required, and maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.
- Relevant certifications, licenses, or trade training (e.g., OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, electrician trainee or journeyperson certification, equipment operator certifications, or manufacturer-specific training) are preferred based on the position.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation, when required.
- Ability to work on-site in varying weather and field conditions, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and safely operating tools, equipment, and machinery.
