The Role:
SFP is currently seeking a Client Advisor Associate to join our Knoxville office. This role is a critical partner to our advisory team, supporting client relationship management, portfolio and account servicing, and the day-to-day execution that allows advisors to focus on planning and business development. This is an on-site position suited to a licensed professional who wants direct hands-on exposure to a high-performing private wealth practice with a clear plan for growth.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on account servicing, paperwork, and day-to-day requests.
- Prepare for and support client meetings, including performance reports, agendas and follow-up items.
- Assist with the implementation of financial plans, account opening, transfers, and trade execution under advisor direction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure compliance documentation is complete and current.
- Coordinate with internal partners (operations, compliance, planning) to resolve client needs efficiently.
- Help monitor portfolios and flag items requiring advisor attention.
- Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and professional first impression of the firm.
- Contribute to the team's growth by helping identify service gaps and process improvements.
What You'll Bring:
- Active SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a wealth management, brokerage or financial advisory support role.
- Strong working knowledge of investment products, account types, and industry compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail, particularly with client-facing documentation
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- A collaborative, team-first mindset with a genuine interest in client services
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard portfolio/reporting tools
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Compensation: $100,000 (negotiable w/ additional experience, CFP, etc)
