Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business through leads, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct needs-based consultations with clients to recommend suitable health and life insurance products.
- Educate clients on policy options, coverage details, and benefits.
- Assist clients with applications, underwriting requirements, and policy issuance.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance regulations, and product offerings.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
Requirements:
- Active Health and Life Insurance License in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC (required).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual abilities (a plus).
- Existing book of business or strong local network.
- Experience with Medicare, ACA, or supplemental insurance products.
