What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Strategic Employment?
Consumer product and e-commerce company is looking for a Staff Accountant. In this role you will work on a team for full-cycle, GL accounting and get to work on deeper financial/performance analysis and reporting across a large SKU catalog. This is a growing team, fast moving, with lots of impact and access to key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years of experience with full cycle accounting experience including GL, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, etc.
- Experience creating or supporting financial statements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in e-commerce, DTC, consumer products, or similar industry
Pluses:
- Some exposure to FP&A, financial analysis, variance analysis, or similar
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Power BI or similar reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau
- Inventory Accounting
- Experience in a high-SKU environment
