About the job A public accounting firm in Fort Collins is looking for an Accounting Manager to take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of small business clients; monthly bookkeeping and financial statements, tax planning and preparation, and direct client advisory. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to run their own book rather than sit inside a multi-year training track. You'll review the monthly financials prepared by staff accountants, lead onboarding and strategy sessions for new clients, and serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients with autonomy and direct visibility into the business you support. What we're looking for: Exceptional work life balance even during busy season never getting even to 50 hours a week. Base salary of $90,000–$125,000 and bonus.
