What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at Strategic Employment Partners (SEP)?
Business Development Manager
About the job
A family-owned premium seafood producer is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive new-account growth. The company is coming off a record year. This is a phone-first hunter role reporting to the President. You'll prospect restaurants, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers who buy from a competitor today, and win them over through persistent outreach and strong objection handling. You'll also take over and grow a portfolio of loyal smaller accounts that carry the company's highest commission opportunity. Seafood experience isn't required, and product training is provided. What matters is the drive to prospect every day.

- Sales experience in food, beverage, foodservice, distribution, or CPG is strongly preferred
- Measurable results: quota attainment, rankings, or President's Club
- Experience with a structured prospecting method (Fanatical Prospecting, Sandler, or similar) is a plus
