Assistant Controller – Global Retail Brand
Location: 5 days a week onsite in Hollywood, CA
Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 Bonus Benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team across multiple functions
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and international teams
- Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability initiatives
- Support audits, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a hands-on leader—comfortable diving into details when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong leadership background
- Proven experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Retail, consumer goods, or multi-entity/global experience strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- CPA strongly preferred
- Systems-savvy with experience improving processes and implementing controls
- A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
