Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician role located in Omaha, NE. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Additional tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, and performing preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. The role also involves collaborating with project teams, following safety protocols, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Work, including installation, maintenance, and system upgrades
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and their practical application in industrial and commercial environments
- Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to electrical codes and standards
- State-issued Journeyman Electrician’s License (required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical projects is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical work is preferred
