- Manage daily and monthly accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, budgeting, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain DCAA-compliant accounting systems and ensure accurate cost accounting and indirect rate calculations.
- Oversee project cost tracking, billing, and revenue recognition in accordance with contract terms.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- Support proposal pricing, cost-volume development, and indirect rate preparation. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 2 years of progressive accounting experience; experience in a government contracting environment is nice to have.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
