As a Research Associate, you will design, execute, and analyze scientific experiments that drive therapeutic programs forward. Your primary focus will be on the expression, purification, and characterization of bispecific antibodies.
🧬 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment
- Express recombinant proteins, with emphasis on antibodies and bispecifics
- Purify proteins using resin scouting and optimization strategies
- Perform analytical techniques: SDS-PAGE, western blotting, ELISA, SEC, AEX, HIC, cIEF, CE-SDS, flow cytometry, SPR, and cell-based assays
- Maintain and freeze mammalian cell lines
- Characterize proteins for affinity and functional activity
- Manage lab inventory and equipment
- Collaborate across teams to meet project milestones
- Document experiments in lab notebooks promptly and thoroughly
- Prepare and present data clearly to cross-functional teams
🎓 Qualifications
- BS in biological sciences or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience or
- MS in biological sciences or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience
