As an Analytical Development Intern, you’ll join the Analytical Chemistry team in Lawrence, KS. This position offers hands-on experience in drug development and compound characterization, reporting directly to a Senior Scientist.
Responsibilities
- Weigh and prepare compounds; maintain accurate documentation
- Assist in solution prep and compound characterization
- Maintain compound inventory and labeling
- Analyze samples, validate data, and follow SOPs
- Support lab safety and equipment upkeep
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to weigh milligram amounts with precision
- Familiarity with SOPs and documentation practices
- Knowledge of Excel or similar software (preferred)
- Background in analytical chemistry or lab work (preferred)
- Adaptability and teamwork in a dynamic environment
