Key Responsibilities
Functional Analysis & Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with business users to understand and document requirements.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to align business needs with PeopleSoft capabilities.
- Develop functional specifications and user stories for system enhancements.
System Configuration & Customization
- Configure PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements.
- Customize PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR, and BI Publisher.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare test plans and scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Resolve issues identified during testing and post-production support.
Training & Support
- Provide training to end-users on new functionalities and system enhancements.
- Offer ongoing support to users, addressing queries and issues promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of user manuals and documentation.
Project Management & Documentation
- Assist in project planning, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with change management procedures and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft applications.
- Proficiency in PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher).
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
Functional Expertise
- In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft modules and business processes.
- Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools (PS Query, nVision).
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker for system integrations.
Analytical & Communication Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
