What You'll Do
- Lead the full proposal lifecycle-from RFI release to final submission-ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Drive collaboration across capture managers, technical SMEs, pricing teams, and subcontractors to create compelling, compliant proposals.
- Develop and manage proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and review cycles.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings, daily stand-ups, and color team reviews.
- Interpret federal solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, ROMs) and translate requirements into winning strategies.
- Write, edit, and format proposal content, including executive summaries, management plans, and past performance.
- Maintain proposal artifacts, past performance data, and support post-submission activities (clarifications, BAFOs, debriefs).
- Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and tools to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Support continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field.
- 4-7 years of federal proposal management experience, ideally in the defense or aerospace sector.
- Deep knowledge of government procurement processes and the proposal lifecycle.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal automation tools.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines with precision.
- U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- APMP certification (Foundation or Practitioner).
- Familiarity with Shipley or similar methodologies.
- Experience working on classified proposals or in secure environments.
- Background in small business contracting with large primes or subcontractor teams.
- 5 years of experience integrating winning proposal content.
