POSITION OVERVIEW
Asset Specialist provides support to the Operations and Field Services Team (Job Coordinators, Operations Managers, Field Technicians) by direct tracking of inventory on all both inbound and outbound rental assets. Cycle counts, item research, outbound package preparation, inbound package receipt, and all other related inventory duties are encompassed in this position. This position reports directly to the Asset Manager.
JOB DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Conduct themselves in a professional manner
· Weekly Cycle counts of all Rental Asset equipment
· Weekly Cycle count of PacTec Connex
· 100% proficiency with Netsuite/ Serrera Repair and Rental Series, RF SMART
· Intimate Knowledge/ Tracking of all inbound and outbound equipment
· Assist with Air room and IE Room in readying equipment as needed
· Track inventory movements of all equipment through all stages of Repair Series- available, inspection, repair, damage
· Ready all equipment for field and provide daily up to date numbers on all available items via reporting methods such as email, verbal, and written formats
· Prepare and stage Outbound Assets for jobs
· Scan in all Inbound Assets from the rig down truck and place in appropriate staging lane/ area
· Inspect all Inbound Assets according to Repair Series Checklist within 1 hour of receiving
· Coordinate checklist inspections with Mechanics and Asset team members for items assigned
· Work in conjunction with Job Coordinators to facilitate all jobs
· Assist with ordering of needed repair items
· Keep all assigned areas clean and organized
· Create clear and relevant visual directions (signage, floor marking, etc.) for equipment for the stages of Series
· Seek solutions to improve efficiencies and minimize touches of equipment
· Provide training for new hires/ field techs as needed
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
· 1 year related inventory experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday; On-call as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to humid and outside weather conditions.
The job activities will require the employee to work in a shop/warehouse environment.
Flexibility in work schedule is also required for possible overtime, work on holidays, weekends and extended hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to lift/carry 110 lbs. occasionally, 70 lbs. frequently and 38 lbs. constantly. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel to perform his/her job duties.
