Strasburg C-3 School District is accepting applications for an Art Instructor / Librarian (K–8) position for the 2026–2027 school year.
Strasburg C-3 is a small, close-knit rural district committed to providing a well-rounded educational experience for all students. The district serves approximately 135 students in grades K–8 and employs 19 certified staff members, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive professional environment.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will provide engaging art instruction to students in grades K–8 while also managing and maintaining the school library/media center. This position offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with students across all grade levels and play a vital role in both creative and literacy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver standards-based art instruction for K–8 students
- Foster creativity and appreciation for the arts in a supportive classroom environment
- Manage daily operations of the school library, including circulation, organization, and inventory
- Promote literacy and support student research and technology use
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate art and literacy across the curriculum
- Maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment
- Participate in district and building-level initiatives and committees as needed
