Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Tampa, FL, for a Salesperson at Strangecat Toys. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, managing product displays, and assisting with in-store sales. You will also maintain inventory tracking, answer customer inquiries, process transactions, and contribute to marketing efforts aimed at promoting our unique product lines.
Qualifications
- Customer service and sales skills, including experience in creating a positive shopping experience, managing customer inquiries, and handling transactions
- Merchandising and inventory management experience to ensure products are displayed attractively and stock levels are maintained
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Time management and organizational skills to handle various tasks and responsibilities efficiently
- Basic understanding of marketing strategies, particularly related to retail and product promotion
- Knowledge or passion for art toys, collectibles, or similar niche markets is a strong plus
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or related certifications are a plus
