General Laborer
Job status: Seasonal
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: 12111 W Broad St Henrico VA 23233
Strange’s is seeking a seasonal General Labor team member for the Short Pump location for Summer 2026. The General Laborer supports either the greenhouse or nursery departments in receiving plant product, watering, and general customer service.
Schedule: 3-4 days a week (includes 1 weekend day)
- Unloads shipments of plants
- Tags plant material with proper retail prices and information
- Sorts plant product on benches or area
- Completes general landscape maintenance to include cutting grass, weed eating, and updating garden beds
- Waters designated areas of the garden center
- Organizes materials with a forklift, pallet jack, or tiered rolling carts
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
