Personal Lines Insurance Advisor

Strand Insurance is looking for a friendly, dependable and motivated Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our Long Beach team.

We are an independent insurance agency with deep roots in the communities we serve. For us, insurance is about more than policies and premiums, it is about building relationships, helping people understand their coverage and being there when our clients need us.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is newer to the insurance industry and wants to build a career, as well as an experienced insurance professional looking for a long-term home with an established independent agency.

This position is 100% in-office at our Long Beach, WA location and is not a remote or hybrid position.

What You’ll Do

• Help clients with their personal insurance needs, including home, auto, umbrella and other personal lines coverage
• Proactively review existing policies and identify coverage needs or opportunities
• Provide thoughtful, knowledgeable customer service by phone, email and in person
• Quote and prepare new business with multiple insurance carriers
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals and coverage questions
• Build relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact
• Educate clients about their insurance options rather than simply focusing on price
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Work closely with teammates, managers and our support team
• Continue learning insurance products, carrier guidelines and coverage options

Insurance Experience

Insurance experience is welcome, but it is not required for the right candidate.

An active Washington Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred. Candidates without a license must be willing and able to obtain the appropriate Washington insurance license as a condition of the position.

Previous experience in insurance, banking, customer service, professional office environments or other client-facing roles may be helpful.

Pay: From $45,760.00 per year
