Job Summary
The Expo/Busser creates a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring the dining room is clean, free from trash and debris, and tables are set up properly. This person will deliver food and drinks promptly to our guests and assist clearing tables when needed. This person works within a team to clear and reset tables quickly between seatings. Additionally, the Expo/Busser will refill beverages for guests and perform light housekeeping duties such as sweeping floors and stocking glassware and ice.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Expo/ Busser's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivers exceptional customer service by positively interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Fulfills guest and co-worker requests quickly and efficiently
- Supports other areas of the restaurant as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, prep work and equipment maintenance
- Handles carryout orders as needed
- Runs food to the tables
- Provides basic table services
- Performs sanitation and general cleaning of the restaurant
- Uses proper food handling techniques
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 6 months experience as an Expo/Busser in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Must be able to assist guests and possess great customer relations skills
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Basic to intermediate English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
