Position: Fulfillment Specialist (Full Time). Stran and Company, Inc. is currently seeking a candidate to fill a Fulfillment Specialist position, working full time in our Tomball Texas warehouse.
Mission:
The Fulfillment Specialist will focus on inventory program orders as well as receiving in goods for programs and projects. The Fulfillment Specialist will work closely with the Warehouse
Specialist and the Distribution and Fulfillment Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitting projects
- Manage and receive daily shipments of goods from suppliers and manufacturers
- Organize all inventory to allow for orders to be picked efficiently
- Stock shelves with new products and remove old products for sale or disposal as directed
- Communicate with warehouse specialist on products received for kitting projects
- Assist in keeping records of warehouse inventory levels and product locations to ensure all items are accurate and accounted for
- Communicate with Warehouse Manager on any supplies that are getting low and need to be reordered
- Assist with updating orders with ship dates once complete
- Ship all daily packages and update with tracking numbers
- Provide coverage of other team members on assigned duties during absence or PTO
- Adhere to proper warehousing, handling, and shipping OSHA standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse/fulfillment center
- Must be able to use Microsoft products (word, excel)
- Must know how to operate shipping platforms to do daily shipping operations.
- Must pass a background and drug test.
- Must have a GED or higher education.
- Must be able to handle a lifting of packages of 50 pounds or more.
- Must be able to handle weather conditions of hot and cold in a warehouse environment.
