Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team. We’re a start-up and as an early joiner you’ll get the opportunity to really influence the direction of Stralynn and make a significant impact.

Our preference is for this role to be located within the Bay Area, CA but we are open to candidates throughout the U.S.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Generates leads and utilizes provided leads to drive sales to close.
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale
  • Continue to farm existing and engage previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements to increase current or bring in new sales revenue.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
  • Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Negotiate agreements
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual performance targets including successful delivery, customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue targets.
  • Provide sales forecasts

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher in Business, Sales & Marketing, or related degree is a strong plus.
  • Any technical background related to IT and Digital Transformation is a strong plus.

Experience/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience as an Sales Executive, or similar sales role
  • Experience working for an IT consulting and services company.
  • Global sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience selling to C-Suite executives and other organizational leaders is a plus.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and drive completion
  • You are a kind, straightforward, empathetic, and no-nonsense leader. You know how to get results from your team.

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
