About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Relationship Manager (BRM) with a strong background in supply chain operations, planning, and technology to serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT/technology teams. The BRM will ensure that supply chain initiatives are strategically aligned with business objectives, drive value realization, and enable digital transformation across our North American operations.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the trusted advisor for supply chain leaders, understanding business priorities, challenges, and opportunities across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
Demand Shaping: Identify, prioritize, and translate business requirements into actionable technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with global strategy.
Value Delivery: Track and measure the business value of supply chain projects, ensuring outcomes meet agreed KPIs (e.g., cost savings, service level improvements, cycle-time reduction).
Portfolio Management: Collaborate with PMO and IT teams to manage a portfolio of supply chain initiatives, balancing strategic and operational demands.
Innovation & Process Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, predictive analytics), and propose innovative solutions to improve supply chain resilience and efficiency.
Change Management: Support adoption of new tools and processes by working with business users on training, communications, and change readiness.
Risk Management: Identify risks and issues affecting supply chain operations and recommend mitigations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or related business functions.
3 years of experience in a BRM, business analyst, or program management role bridging business and IT.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and supply chain planning tools.
Familiarity with digital supply chain initiatives (e.g., automation, advanced analytics, digital twins) preferred.
Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leaders.
Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics).
Ability to translate business problems into technology-enabled solutions.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and financial acumen.
