We are looking for an upbeat, fun and caring person to fill the position of Day Activity Worker. You would be providing necessary and appropriate services for adults with developmental disabilities, mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnosis. The Day Activity Worker has a high degree of personal integrity, generates positive energy and makes a difference every day. Some duties would include:
- Implement life skills and comprehensive opportunities to help each client achieve his/her highest level of independence.
- Taking clients on outings out in the community.
- Doing fun activities in the workshop.
- Provide supports as necessary to ensure their success.
- Keep work area in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
- Accurately document client activities, paid work and progress daily as assigned.
- Participate in all required training programs (CMH, CPR, First Aid, etc.)
