If you know your way around a striping machine, can run a layout from scratch, and take pride in clean, precise work — Straight-Up Striping wants you on our team. We're hiring an experienced Lot Marker/Striper in Denver for someone ready to step into a more technical role on our crew.
This isn't an entry-level position. You've already got the basics down. Now it's time to put your advanced skills to work on bigger projects, specialty markings, and jobsite quality control.

What You'll Be Doing
Layouts & Striping
- Set up and execute layouts for stalls, angled stalls, head-to-head, handicap, hash marks, crosswalks, crossbars, stop bars, and speed bumps
- Perform advanced striping including circles, shapes, playgrounds, sports courts, and other specialty markings
- Handle complex layouts: corners, sports courts, angled stall headers, and more
- Operate the Rider striper for larger lot applications
- Apply thermoplastic: measuring, application, and proper storage
- Use and maintain stencils: positioning, painting, cleaning, and storage
- Paint auto stops, bollards, curbs, and all standard lot markings
Equipment & Machines
- Operate and maintain Grinder, Corer, Pounder, and Generator
- Troubleshoot and fix machine clogs; perform striping machine repairs
- Perform vehicle fluid refills and oil changes; stock trucks and trailers with the right tools, equipment, and materials
- Conduct striper maintenance including paint/color changes
Signs & Hardware
- Set signs on poles, buildings, bollards, and fences
- Set poles in bollards, landscape, and concrete
- Assemble and install RRFBs (Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacons)
Jobsite Operations
- Set up and manage traffic control with cones
- Maintain quality control across the jobsite
- Load and unload trailer; drive with trailer
- Assist with site cleanup; keep shop, trucks, trailers, and stencils clean and organized
Team & Admin
- Attend and actively participate in the daily huddle
- Communicate clearly with your team and provide excellent customer service on-site
- Follow all safety protocols including proper PPE use and secure lockup
- Adhere to company policy and complete assigned training on time
What We're Looking For
- Previous parking lot striping experience is required — you know this work already
- Proven ability to set up and execute lot layouts independently
- Experience with complex layouts and specialty markings preferred
- Strong math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand/work on your feet for extended periods
- Valid Driver's License required
- Working smartphone required
