About us
Straight Shot, an excavation company based in Marine City, MI, is hiring a General Laborer / Vac Truck Operator. This is a labor-focused position that requires a CDL and the ability to assist with underground work. Experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor on excavation and underground job sites
- Operate a vac truck both Jet service, as well as hydro excavation(experience Required)
- Underground water and sewer line repairs (experience Required)
- Hand digging, trench work, exposing underground utilities
- Follow safety procedures and work outdoors in all weather
- Be available on call for emergency work
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Class A)
- General labor experience (construction/excavation preferred)
- Good knowledge of water and sewer line repair
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation to Marine City, MI
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn

Pay:
$25–$30 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.

Experience:
- Vac truck: 1 year (Required)
- Underground utilities: 1 year (Required)
- Outdoor work: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- CDL A (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Marine City, MI 48039: Relocate before starting work (Required)
