Laundromat Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our laundry facilities, ensuring that all linens and garments meet the highest standards of quality. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an understanding of laundry operations.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greeting & interacting with self service laundromat.
• Drop off wash and fold as well as dry cleaning for customers.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers.
• Inspect laundry for stains or damage and pre-treat when necessary.
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the supervisor.
• Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling chemicals and cleaning agents.

Experience

• Experience in laundering, preferably in a hotel, dry cleaning or laundromat setting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their appropriate care methods is preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on providing a positive experience for guests.
• Basic cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to perform basic math functions related to inventory tracking and cash handling.

Flexible Schedule: Full-time, Part-time

Pay is commensurate with experience
