Straight Path Trucking LLC is hiring an experienced Class A CDL driver to run our 2023 Peterbilt 579 pulling a 7-car trailer on regional car-hauling routes. Pay & Earnings
- Pay structure: 28-32% of gross load revenue
- Typical gross: $7,000–$9,000/week (driver's share scales directly with runs)
- Higher-mileage drivers who choose to run more days earn more; no cap on earning potential
Schedule
- Regional routes — generally out 3–5 nights per week
- Home weekends
- Flexible: drivers who need to be home more during the week can be accommodated, with the trade-off of lower weekly earnings
- Drivers who want to maximize income can run more nights for higher weekly gross

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7-car hauler on regional routes, loading/securing/unloading vehicles per industry standards
- Complete car pickup/deliver inspections accurately and efficiently.
- Be comfortable with paperless BOL workflows
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA hours-of-service regulations
- Communicate load status and schedule updates to dispatch
- Maintain the truck and trailer in safe, clean operating condition
- Handle vehicles with care to avoid damage during transportQualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 21 years of age (interstate operation)
- Prior car-hauling / auto-transport experience strongly preferred
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with vehicle securement (straps, chains, ratchets) for open car trailers
- Comfortable with automated transmission trucks
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers
