Position Overview

Our EMTs support daily non-emergency medical transport operations throughout East Texas. This position involves assisting with stretcher and wheelchair transports, patient care during transport, communication with healthcare facilities, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate care during patient transports
• Assist patients entering and exiting transport vehicles
• Operate or assist with stretcher and wheelchair transports
• Monitor patient condition during transport
• Maintain professional communication with hospitals, nursing facilities, dialysis centers, and families
• Complete required transport documentation
• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain clean and ready for service
• Follow all company safety policies and HIPAA requirements

Requirements

• Current EMT certification
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift, move, push, and pull 100 pounds or more with assistance as needed
• Ability to safely perform stretcher and wheelchair operations
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience in EMS, NEMT, nursing home, or hospital settings is a plus
