Full Charge Bookkeeper

Overview

Join our team as an Accounting - GL & Journal Entries, Payroll, Tax specialist and become a vital part of our organization’s financial and accounting team! This role combines meticulous bookkeeping, payroll management, tax compliance, and human resources support to ensure smooth and efficient business processes. You will be instrumental in managing employee records, overseeing payroll procedures, working closely with CPA and supporting office administration. Duties

• Manage payroll processing on accounting software, ensuring timely salary payments and deductions.
• Oversee human resources functions including employee onboarding, record keeping, benefits administration, and unemployment claims
• Handle tax filings related to payroll taxes, W-2's, income taxes, sales taxes and other statutory requirements and attention to detail.
• Work with CPA on assets, GL and year end processing
• Month end reports and send information to CPA
• Pay invoices for truckload materials to suppliers
• Manage asset lists for new equipment
• Financial reporting and assisting with bookkeeping duties to maintain accurate financial records. Semi-annual inventory processing.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software & Excel coupled with excellent bookkeeping skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills for schedule management, filing systems, and calendar coordination.
• Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with team members, vendors, and external partners.
• Experience in payroll management and tax compliance
• Demonstrat ability to multitask in a busy office setting while maintaining accuracy in all administrative responsibilities. Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
