Straight Line General Contractors is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Project Manager/Superintendent to join our team. This role is a cornerstone of our operations—the direct bridge between our office and active job sites. Position Overview
The Project Manager/Superintendent oversees day-to-day site operations while coordinating directly with the office, trades, and clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to keeping every project on schedule, on budget, and up to our highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between the office and all job sites
- Supervise and support field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure project timelines, materials, and labor are planned and executed efficiently
- Perform daily site walkthroughs, quality-control checks, and safety monitoring
- Communicate updates, delays, and needs promptly to the office
- Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and site logistics
- Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, and documentation using the Buildertrend App
- Resolve on-site issues with professionalism and problem-solving
- Build strong relationships with clients through clear, respectful communication
- Ensure workmanship aligns with Straight Line quality standards
- In the office daily at 3 PM to meet with the Office Manager to review job status, changes, materials needed, and billing.
Qualifications
- 3 years of construction experience required (residential or commercial)
- Previous project management, site supervision, or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and job-site safety
- Excellent communication, planning, and multitasking skills
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be punctual, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
