What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery driver / tile and flooring helper position at Straight Edge Tile & Flooring, LLC?
Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record for our commercial auto policy. Must have transportation and must be reliable.
Must be over 26 years of age to be able to be added to the commercial auto policy.
Must have a vehicle that you drive to work. No bus, bike, or drop offs. At times you will be on a few different jobs a day.
Need some experience in basic construction at a minimum. Will be assisting in some demolition tasks, light framing, wall board installation, and floor prep.
Summary
As a Delivery Driver and Tile and Flooring Helper, you will be essential in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials while assisting in flooring installations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will leverage your core skills in driving and heavy lifting to navigate various locations safely. Your premium skills in customer service and warehouse experience will enhance client interactions and operational efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in moving and forklift operation will support the overall success of our construction projects. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring timely transportation of tile and flooring materials.
- Load and unload products, utilizing heavy lifting techniques and equipment as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
