Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Mechanic role based in Easton, PA. The Maintenance Mechanic will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, supporting equipment changeovers, and responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime. The role also involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and working closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability. The Maintenance Mechanic will follow all safety procedures, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Skilled in mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production and facility equipment.
- Ability to work with basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including safe use of tools, test equipment, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical documents, such as schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or in an industrial/manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Easton, PA, and to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and working in a production environment.
